NEHP is migrating to Fiber To The Home.  FTTH will provide the following advantages:

FTTH will see the removal of copper and cable wires to your home.  In its place a fiber optic cable will be routed to an enclosure on the side of the house.  This enclosure will contain the electronics and 8hours of battery backup necessary to convert the fiber optic data to copper wire telephone, cable TV and Ethernet Internet access.
